WHat is NWF?

NWF aka National Wrestling Federation – Is a Federation that has existed since April 2008. Using WWE Games we strive on being a Realistic (sim) Playstyle fed, that incorporates Over the Mic Roleplay, Realistic Matches, Unique Storylines & Great overall Character Development that keeps you interested at all times. This is all done in Real time, With all NWF members present in a Xbox Live Party. With the combination of being able to play Multiple People, both  in-game male/female Superstars, as well as Created Superstars all in a custom fantasy setting.

 

 

 

How do matches in NWF work?

Matches in NWF are a combination of being predetermined and being on the fly, all done in a realistic real-time fashion. You must build chemistry overtime with other members first and foremost, plan spots for matches & know when to do certain things on the fly. Sometimes there is a preset winner, other times it's not said & you both can decide the match outcome yourselves.

 

 

How does Over The Mic Role-playing work exactly?

Voice roleplay in NWF plays a huge role in character development just as it would in real life. Such expression and story driven promos/segments quite frankly wouldn't be the same without it. Voice roleplay in NWF is done in real-time in a Xbox live party without any rehearsal. You're given bullet points of what to say & general direction.

 

 

Segments like all things in wrestling have unlimited scenarios, Same goes for how it works in NWF. One minute you could be cutting a promo as a Babyface Sami Zayn, the next segment could be you in a backstage Interview as your Heel Created Wrestler and you have to instantly be able to switch. Here are the examples of segments, which again have endless scenarios

• In Ring Promo - A match is created for these types of segments, all Superstars necessary for the segment will be present. Additional Superstars / General Manager / Other (Security, Refs, Person of interest)  will be there through imagination.

• Backstage Interviews - These are done through the Xbox Live Party in real-time. And whoever the interviewer is will introduce the segment.

• Backstage Segments - These are segments between multiple people inside the Xbox Live Party. In which just like Backstage Interviews you're in character at all times & interact with other characters the way you feel your character would do so.

How are the shows structured?

With being able to play multiple Superstars in NWF. It makes it so that you're not just getting on to do one thing.  You could be in multiple segments per show because of using multiple Superstars.  In NWF everyone watches everything, meaning you don't just do your things and then leave. NWF does not work like that, you must watch and or listen to all the segments & watch the matches. Obviously if you have to go it's ok. But generally speaking that's the mentality we have here. You could also be used as an extra for someone else's segment such as “Security” or just be in use of a superstar you normally don't use, but rather just that one segment.

 

 

How many Characters can I have?

In NWF we use multiple characters, there is no official limit on how many people you can play as. Obviously common sense would tell you not to expect to have 20 Created Wrestlers. But with a combination of both In-game wrestlers / women, Past wrestlers / Real life non in-game wrestlers & Your own original created superstars. It can start to add up to a lot. Whatever you feel comfortable doing, you could play 1 Character and you could take on more as go, or jump right in. In addition you might be assigned characters if you chose to accept the role.

 

What day are your shows on?

NWF's main recording day for shows is done on Friday Nights, at roughly 6-10 EST. That will remain throughout WWE 2K22's life cycle. However it's possible for extra shows / recordings on differnet days on rare occasions. But our main shows & Pay Per Views will always be recorded live on Friday!

 

 

 

How do I get to choose who I play?

In NWF mostly everyone is technically taken, As we use majority of the in-game stars regardless if there is a dedicated person to play said superstar. With that said NWF has built up 15+ Years in our universe, so to play a certain character you will need to be brought up to speed with what they are currently doing & big things they have done in the past.  As for original created characters you can do whatever you want, although we may give input on moves you do & other suggestions that may interfere with a character already in NWF.

 

 

Are Matches Recorded?

We record all of our events, this incliudes RAW, SmackDown & All Pay Per Views. Everything that we do NWF gets recorded. All content will then be uploaded to our YouTube Channel in either Full Show Format, Indivual Matches or Highlight music videos!
