Drew McIntyre vs Kevin Owens - Extreme Rules

2023 Royal Rumble Winner Drew McIntyre won the NWF Championship at WrestleMania 15 after a year long journey to get there, he did so by winning a Fatal 4 Way TLC Match in the Main Event.

But Kevin Owens the Former NWF Champion wants to reclaim his Title at Extreme Rules, and after winning a #1 Contender Match against Chris Morgan that has become a reality.

Now at Extreme Rules, two men will battle for the richest prize in an Extreme Rules Match! Who will walk out NWF Champion, Kevin Owens or Drew McIntyre?

• Gulak signed Kevin Owens to SmackDown, To which Owens used as an opportunity to become NWF Champion.

• Owens & Gulak then became close, Owens thinking Gulak has his best intentions towards him.

• However early on the same couldn't be said for Sami Zayn, as Drew Gulak made Sami face The Big Show at Survivor Series which resulted in Zayn getting his face smashed in.

• At Bragging Rights in December 2022 Smackdown lost, Sami Zayn took matters into his own hands by starting a feud with The Revival, Who Zayn blamed the loss on. Zayn retained his Crusierweight Title against Dash Wilder at The 2023 Royal Rumble

• At The Royal Rumble 2023 Kevin Owens defended the NWF Championship against Former Champion Finn Balor, during the match Balor was just about to win with his bloody sundae, but Sami Zayn smashed Balor with a Steel Chair & thus Owens retained the NWF Championship

• Drew Gulak would take action, as he made Sami Zayn defend his Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania 15 against Finn Balor. To which Balor defeated Zayn in about a minute to take Zayn's title, he then renamed the Cruiserweight Championship back to the X-Division Championship on the following SmackDown.

• Kevin Owens was set to face Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre in a one on one match at WrestleMania 15, however Roman Reigns & Chris Morgan earned there way in when Kevin Owens attacked all 3 during a 3 Way.

• Drew Gulak then made Owens defend the NWF Championship at WrestleMania 15 in a Fatal 4 Way TLC Match, Which Owens would lose when Drew McIntyre retrieved The NWF Title. Owens was then able to earn #1 Contendership for McIntyre & earned an Extreme Rules Match at Extreme Rules!

• At SmackDown 15, Zayn who still had a lot to sort out was shocked when SmackDown G.M Drew Gulak made an Extreme proposal, that being if Zayn can defeat Gulak in 60 Seconds at Extreme Rules, Gulak will step down. Sami Zayn signed the contract so fast he didn't even read what would happen if he cannot defeat Gulak at Extreme Rules!

• After Morgan lost his #1 Contenders Match the Smackdown after WrestleMania 15 to Kevin Owens, Adam Cole returned to the NWF after 2 ½ months, he laid out Morgan to end SmackDown!

• At SmackDown 15 Chris Morgan defeated Kyle O'Riley

• Later that night at SmackDown 15, Chris Morgan & Adam Cole sat down with SmackDown G.M Drew Gulak for an interview.

• The C&C Backstory then became public. As Chris Morgan & Adam Cole told all! They were supposed to come into the NWF Together but Morgan got signed before Cole & betrayed that promise. When Morgan signed with NWF in Early 2018 Thus Their dreams of becoming the next Edge & Christian were thrown out the window.

• Cole said Morgan was his best man at his wedding back in the day, he thought they were as close as brothers.

• Morgan says he dug his life & career out of a deep dark hole, as his sister Liv Morgan was a delinquent. And his family life was lack thereof. So Morgan took the only opportunity he had in front of him to change his life for the better & make something of himself.

• Cole kept making personal, getting under Morgan's skin by calling his Dad an alcoholic.

• Morgan & Cole will meet in a Singles Match at Extreme Rules 2023 for the first time ever.

• Liv Morgan was a troubled teen, her family life was torn apart at an early age.

• Liv Morgan was a juvenile delinquent, being assigned to the mental ward. That's where she met Dexter Lumis & "The Warden" Lacey Evans

• Liv Morgan & Dexter Lumis boyh signed with NWF SmackDown in September 2022 upon getting released from the Ward.

• Liv defeated ½ Of the Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks in her debut. Which led to her & Paige getting defeated at Halloween Havoc 2022 in a Women's Tag Team Championship match.

• Dexter Lumis immediately went after Liv's brother Chris Morgan for not being there for Liv during her darkest moments. Which culminated with Lumus defeating a broken down Chris Morgan at Halloween Havoc 2022.

• After WrestleMania 15 Liv Morgan would defeat Women's Legacy Medallion Holder Sasha Banks in a non title match. But after the match "The Warden" Lacey Evans came out & knocked out Sasha & gave "Olivia" the Women's Legacy Medallion.

• The following week at SmackDown 15, Lacey Evans stood up for Liv against Sasha Banks. The segment ended with Evans putting both the spotlight & all the pressure on Liv Morgan as she made a Ladder Match between Liv & Sasha at Extreme Rules.

• Liv Morgan was also Persuaded to rid Dexter Lumis of her life by Lacey Evans. Dexter, who is madly in love with Liv, was heartbroken when Liv shut down any romantic connection between them.

• Becky Lynch regained her SmackDown Women's Championship at Royal Rumble 2023 after Kai & LeRae took it back at Survivor Series!

• Paige lost her feud to Sasha Banks, which resulted in Sasha Banks becoming the first ever Women's Legacy Medallion holder in NWF History. With Paige's whole issue with herself is her lasting legacy, this was a major blow to Paige's state of mind.

• Becky Lynch retained at WrestleMania 15 by defeating Sasha Banks to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship.

• At SmackDown 15 Becky insisted on defending her Smackdown Women's Championship against both Dakota Kai & Candice LeRae in a handicap match.

• During the match Paige came out & tagged herself Into the match, then hit the Ram-Paige on Kai to win the match for Becky!

• Paige after the match made her intentions clear, as she challenged Becky Lynch for the SmackDown Women's Championship at NWF Ground Zero LIVE FROM THE UNITED KINGDOM. To which Becky accepted.

Dakota Kai & Candice LeRae reach breaking point!

• Dakota Kai & Candice LeRae were trying to become Women's Tag Team Champions, but when an opportunity to become the first ever dual Smackdown Women's Champion. They took it.

• At Survivor Series 2022, Kai & LeRae did just that, when they defeated Becky Lynch in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match to become dual Smackdown Women's Champion.

• At Bragging Rights 2022 The RAW Women's Champion was set to face The SmackDown Women's Champion, but Kai & LeRae had a major miscommunication on who was going to face Charlotte. Kai eventually was the one who would do so. But Charlotte defeated Kai.

• On the next SmackDown, Dakota Kai & Candice LeRae blamed eachother & the two got into an extremely heated verbal exchange.

• At Royal Rumble 2023 in a Fatal Four Way Kai & LeRae defended against Becky Lynch & Bianca Belair. During the match Kai had it won but Candice broke up the pin. Later in the match Becky Lynch would end up Winning. Ending Kai & LeRae's dual reign.

• Over the next few months both women kept not being able to agree on anything just as it was there last month as dual champions.

• At SmackDown 15 they had there "Last Chance" at The SmackDown Women's Championship, the very same way they won it In a handicap match. But Paige came out & evened things out for Becky.

• Match ended when Paige pinned Kai with Ram-Paige. But Candice could have broke the pin up. After the match both Kai & LeRae got into a fight which resulted in a grudge match being made for NWF Ground Zero 2023 where the former BFF's will do battle!

• Samoa Joe was acting strange after not qualifying for the 2023 Royal Rumble Match, so much so that his friend Roman Reigns noticed something was wrong. Reigns saw the early signs of Joe's breaking point. But has yet to comment publicly on everything Joe has done.

• Samoa Joe took out both Braun Strowman & Killian Dain prior to NWF WrestleMania 15. Both men are sidelined indefinitely.

• At WrestleMania 15 was supposed to be the 5th man in the Money in The Bank Match, but he did not show up in time.

• Drew Gulak has suspended Samoa Joe finally, after going through the proper paperwork to cover his own ass.

• Neither Samoa Joe or Roman Reigns have been seen since WrestleMania 15.

Life Flashed before his Eyes - Jeff Hardy & AJ Styles get EXTREME!

Jeff Hardy & AJ Styles were both of the Money in The Bank Ladder Match at NWF WrestleMania 15, In the match AJ Styles hit a dropkick that knocked Jeff Hardy from the top of the ladder in the ring all the way to the outside, which Jeff described as time freezing. And his life flashing before his very eyes. Both of these Former NWF Champions need this win at Extreme Rules, but only one man will get it. And that man will rise to the main event, where as the loser will fall down the card once again. TLC - Pinfall & Submission at Extreme Rules.
